Using any type of furnace frequently can lead to certain furnace problems. The furnace blower is one of the parts that commonly get broken when you always use your furnace. 1. Noisy blower for furnace – If you furnace blower is noisy, you need to determine the cause of the noise. You can check for debris that got stuck inside the furnace which makes the noise on the blower. If you can’t find any, check the blower if there are any cracks or any form of damage which could have caused the noise. Also check if the furnace blower motor is properly oiled.
2. Furnace blower does not rotate – Check if the furnace is turned on. If it is on, listen is the motor has started running. If not, you might need to get your furnace motor checked. 3. Furnace blower starts then stops – If your blower for furnace behaves this way, one cause can be the capacitor of your furnace. If the capacitor has leaked or got broken, this behavior will occur.
